
Bill was born in Drumright, Oklahoma but grew up in Bend, Oregon. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948 as a Mailman Second Class aboard the battleship U.S.S. New Jersey. Upon his return to dry land, he attended the University of Oregon, receiving a B.S. in 1952, and earning his law degree and admittance to the bar in 1954. That same year, Bill moved to Medford and joined Otto Frohnmayer. He is admitted to practice in the State of Oregon and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. His practice includes general civil litigation and business law. He has tried in excess of 500 jury trials.
Bill married Priscilla Campbell in 1954. They have two children and three grandchildren. Bill is an avid golfer and has played in the Southern Oregon Golf Tournament since 1955.
Bill has obtained a Martindale-Hubbell® AV Rating.
